Gabby Geller Consulting

Gabby Geller, Founder and Principal, has more than 25 years of experience as an affordable housing and community development professional. Throughout her career Gabby has worked through complex planning, policy, financing, and real estate challenges. In 2022, she decided to set up her own consulting and formed Gabby Geller Consulting LLC in 2022.

Ms. Geller’s direct project management portfolio features over 2000 units of primarily affordable but also, mixed-income, mixed-use housing. Ms. Geller has frequently on projects with a strong public private partnership component.  Gabby has had extensive experience across Massachusetts including projects in Boston, Dartmouth, Williamstown, and Cape Cod.  Prior to her work in Massachusetts, Ms. Geller gained experience working in New York City across all 5 boroughs and in Philadelphia, her hometown.   Ms. Geller’s special interest is in creating more opportunities for mixed income housing and developing more housing for a range of incomes, including very low income to mid income and the financing tools to enable this model to become more common.  Additionally, Gabby has providing Technical Assistance to developers who are less experienced in the development process including serving on part of a team funded by the City of Boston to provide TA to BIPOC developers who are new or less experienced through a team with Nectar Investments and The Life Initiative (TLI)

 

Ms. Geller formerly worked as a Senior Project Manager for the now defunct Women’s Institute for Housing and Economic Development where she worked both as a development consultant to clients positioned across MA as well as on serviced-enriched affordable housing projects developed directly by the Women’s Institute. 

 

Ms. Geller formerly held senior positions at the New York City Department of Housing, Preservation and Development in the Development Division.  Served a two-year Fellowship with the Center for Redevelopment Excellence (CUREx) through the University of Pennsylvania with a posting at Corcoran Jennison Companies in Boston; The Partnership CDC in Philadelphia, The Partnership CDC in Philadelphia and worked as a Project Manager for the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority.

 

Ms. Geller is a graduate of Loyola College in Baltimore (now University) and holds a MCP in City and Urban Planning from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Design (formerly Fine Arts).

Ms. Geller is a State of Massachusetts certified Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprise.
